  1. Payment

1.1 A none refundable deposit of 20% will be required before a booking can be placed.
1.2 Unless otherwise agreed all payments must of be cleared 14 days prior to the hire period. Payment can be made via:

  • BACS (please allow 3 working days to clear)
  • Cheque (please allow 7 working days to clear)
  • Cash (can only be made in person to our warehouse. No cash on delivery / collection)
  • Debit & Credit Cards (2.5% added to all credit card transactions)

1.3 All invoices must have cleared payment in full 14 days before the date of the hire. If your invoice has not been settled your hire will not take place however you will still be liable for the full amount.
1.4 The price in your quote will be guaranteed for 7 days from when it was dated.

  1. Cancellation

2.1 If you cancel more than 30 days before your hire period you will not have to pay the remaining 80%
2.2 If you cancel between 30 to 14 days prior to the hire period you will be liable for 50% of the full hire cost
2.3 If you cancel less than 14 days prior to the hire period you will be liable to pay 100% of the full hire cost.

  1. Deposit / Brakeages

3.1  Photo ID and proof of address is required prior to hire.
3.2 Creative Imagineering may require a deposit prior to delivery. A deposit cheque will be require and will be return upon the successful competition of the hire.
3.3 If we require part or all of the deposit to replace or fix any damaged items then the remainder will be sent to you by cheque along with a receipt via post.
3.4 If the deposit cheque does not cover the price of damage then we will invoice you for the remainder of the cost that must be paid no later then 14 days after the event.
3.5 Breakages or repairs are charged up to 5 times the advertised hire price unless otherwise stated in your hire contract.
3.6 All props are ‘used’ & therefore reasonable signs of wear & tear will show as they are continual hire items.

  1. Delivery / Collection

4.1 Creative Imagineering offers 3 types of delivery for your hire:

  • Collection / Return in person
  • Dry Hire Delivery / Collection
  • Delivery including set up and derigging

4.2 Collection in person is free of charge during normal business hours and by appointment only.
4.3 Your vehicle must be suitable to transport the props safely and we reserve the right to refuse to allow you to transport our props following a risk assessment.
4.4 Dry Hire Delivery / Collection by our team to your venue. This is charged at 45p per mile return from TS6 6TL to your postcode. The delivery will be made to ground floor entrance / loading bay and assistance will be required to help our team unload / load. Items hired will not be set up by our staff.
4.5 Delivery with set up / derigging by our team again this will be charged at 45p per mile plus an installation fee which will be quoted and charged separately.
4.6 If Creative Imagineering are installing we reserve the right to use artistic licence in setting of the props and sufficient time should be allowed for the set up and dressing of the venue.
4.7 Props must be re-packaged exactly as delivered & be available to collect anytime during normal business hours on the arranged collection date.
4.8 Failed collections / attempted deliveries will be charged for at the full price. 

  1. Safety

5.1 All bookings come with risk assessments for all our items to ensure items are handled and used correctly.
5.2 Electrical items are PAT tested and are fitted with a 1m cable. If longer cables are required, it is the client’s responsibility to provide extension leads.
5.3 Electrical items should be tested by hirer prior to event usage.
5.4 All Hire are indoor use only unless agreed by
5.5 The client takes full responsibility to ensure the Health and Safety of their event. Creative Imagineering can not be held responsible for any incidents. 

  1. Miscellaneous

6.1 If an item is damaged or lost prior to your booking you will be informed and every effort will be made to make a like for like replacement, if this is unsatisfactory you will be entitled to a refund for that item.
6.2 We reserve the right to replace props with a suitable substitute in the event of unavailability.
6.3 We have the right to refuse a booking to anyone if we feel the items are not suited to the hire purpose or you, your company or your event contradicts our company ethos.
6.4 We may request to photograph your event and use the photos for promotional purposes; you have the right to refuse this.
6.5 Any packaging that comes with hired items must be retained by the client and used to return the item back to Creative Imagineering.
6.6 The hirer assumes all responsibilities & liabilities once items have been collected by or delivered to the client until the items return / collection by Creative Imagineering
6.7 Late returns will be charged for at the standard hire price (pro rata)
6.8 Any expense incurred by the client regarding the storage of props at their venue is the responsibility of the client and not Creative Imagineering.
6.9 From time to time we offer free hires or reduced hires for charities or in exchange for promotion. In these cases the Terms and Conditions still apply.
6.10 You may not sub hire our items. The person booking the items must be the person or a representative of the person who intends to use them.
